"With only 6,600 left in the world, these predators—also known as African wild dogs— have been hounded to the edge of extinction. For over a century they were considered vermin, and the hunting and killing have reduced their population to just one percent of its former size." Quote from National Geographic by Nicholas Dyer.
This idea comes after watching a BBC documentary were they talk about these beautiful creatures and how they struggle to survive since their habitat is in danger because of the extension of human lands. As an artist and a human being, I feel that I can express emotions through this piece and somehow raise awareness about this topic, in a way or other I can do something to help these animals.
