Wolverine fan art inspired by the amazing art of Fengyi Gong.
This is a style that I wanted to explore for a while, one of the main reasons I love this look is because it pays homage to the classic comics with a combination of modern games aesthetics. The character was made intended to be game-ready with a total of 100k tris and an additional 100k more to produce the cell-shaded effect (black lines outliner). The model includes different texture set in order to maintain the quality, you can check the full breakdown on my artstation.
I used Zbrush and 3Ds Max for the 3d modeling, the cloth was sculpted by hand which gave me the freedom to explore the silhouette from the beginning. Textures were done using Substance Painter and the final presentation was done using Marmoset toolbag. As always thank you so much for your support and I hope you guys like it.
